Current opportunities

Sign up to serve

  • Our Pantry is open on the second Sunday of each month, offering food, household supplies, and personal hygiene items to anyone in need.

    • Current most needed items:

    • Paper Towels

    • Laundry Detergent

    • Body Wash/Soap

    • Shampoo & Conditioner

    • Shelf-stable, easy-prep meals

    • Applesauce & Canned Fruit

    • Copies of the new prayer guide are available in the Fellowship Hall at the missionary bulletin board and in the Lobby. We encourage you to use this as daily guide to remember our brothers and sisters in Christ as they serve God around the world.

  • Men and women are needed to provide spiritual discipleship for individuals pursuing recovery from substance abuse. At GBC, sessions are held monthly (on the fourth Thursday of each month) for those working with residents of The Way Recovery Houses to receive training and to pray for the ministry.   • Each of these choirs will participate in Sunday morning worship services (approximately every 4-6 weeks). If you have a passion for worship and a desire to help lead the church in praise, please consider these options. As we launch into a new choir season this fall, now is a great opportunity to get involved!       • Junior Choir for children in grades K - 6. The Junior Choir will rehearse on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm (before Awana). Signup is required and limited. More info & signup HERE

      • Worship & Praise Choir - Everyone is welcome, regardless of your singing background or skill level. The Worship & Praise Choir will rehearse on Sunday afternoons (after the worship service). More info & signup HERE

      • Gospel Choir - an ensemble-style vocal group; participants will be expected to have strong singing skills and the ability to memorize vocal parts. The Gospel Choir will rehearse on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm. More info & signup HERE

Prayer and praise

  • Pray for Janice as she seeks treatment for an injured knee. Pray for discerning doctors to diagnose what is happening and how to move ahead.

  •  is doing quite well and is thankful for your prayers!


  • graduated to Glory peacefully on Monday evening, November 24 at the age of 97. All are invited to a Celebration of Life Service which will be held on Friday, December 5, at 11:00 am in Crichton Chapel at Calvary Homes (502 Elizabeth Dr, Lancaster 17601).

  • Tina requests prayer for her friend Art who may need a lung transplant.

  • age 95, passed peacefully into Jesus’ arms on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Trillium Place in Lancaster, PA. No public service has been announced at this time. Please keep her loved ones in prayer. Obituary: https://www.thegroffs.com/obituaries/virginia-casto/#!/Obituary

  • age 92, passed away at Landis Homes in Lancaster on Friday, November 14. Please keep Connie and their entire family in prayer.   • is recovering from back surgery. Pray for healing and for peace anticipating additional procedures which may be needed to relieve the pain she has been experiencing.

  •  is having surgery today (Tuesday 11/18) on his foot. Pray that this procedure would be successful and for his recovery following.

  • passed away on November 20. Please remember the family in prayer through this time.
