Current opportunities

  • Our Pantry is open on the second Sunday of each month, offering food, household supplies, and personal hygiene items to anyone in need.

    • Pantry - Current most needed items:

      • Household cleaning supplies (dish soap, multi-purpose cleaner, etc.)

      • Laundry Detergent

      • Shampoo/Conditioner

      • Body Wash

      • Deodorant

  • Verse Listeners/other volunteers needed on Wednesday nights
Our Awana clubs for children have grown again this year, with Cubbies (preschool) and Sparks (grades K-2) both at full capacity. T&T (grades 3-6) numbers have never been higher, yet we have enough small group leaders to take more. Please pray that God would continue to bring us people with a heart for discipling children. If you would like to help in this ministry, but cannot serve every week or full evening, we could still use your help:

    • First, please pray - we need the fruit of the Spirit as we relate to these younger brothers and sisters in the faith and as we witness to those who are not yet in God’s family.

    • Second, we need listeners and people to help children learn their verses with our T&T club (6:45 - 7:15 pm).

    • Third, we are also looking for help in gym time. This is a highlight of the night for many of our students and a reason they bring their friends.

    • Please contact the church office or Pastor Mike Cortez (mcortez@gbclancaster.org) if you are interested in serving in any of these ways.

  • Starting Monday, January 6, the men will begin a new study entitled Twelve Ordinary Men: How the Master Shaped His Disciples for Greatness, and What He Wants to Do with You (by John MacArthur)

  •  - Once a month, our 55+ group meets for a luncheon and fellowship. Help is needed to coordinate meals, assist with preparation and serving, as well as cleaning up afterward. If you would be available to help in any of these ways, please contact the church office or speak with Pastor Marvin Reich.
