Thanksgiving Eve (with Columbia Church)

This year, GBC Lancaster is partnering with Columbia Church for Thanksgiving Eve.
We will be joining our efforts for a Thanksgiving dinner beginning at 5:00 pm followed by a time of worship at 6pm and expressing our gratitude to God.

Volunteers are needed to help serve a community Thanksgiving meal, which is a great blessing to local individuals and families.

Deck the Halls

Decorating the church inside and out to celebrate our Savior's birth!
It's a fun, festive time for the entire family. Grab a friend and come help hang greens and lights, decorate trees, and much more!

Saturday, November 30: 9am - ? (whenever we're done!)
If you cannot make it during these times above but would still like to help, please contact the church - preparations will be underway Monday-Wednesday, including Tuesday evening.

Worship Service (with Piercing Word)

Sunday, December 15, 10:45–11:45am

Experience a fresh perspective on an ancient tradition in this modern musical. Inspired by traditional themes of the Advent season, The Advent of Christmascelebrates the Hope, Faith, Joy, Peace, and Love found in Christ. This production includes the traditional Christmas narrative from Luke 1–2 and other passages that highlight the birth of Christ and why His arrival matters. So, whether you’re facing hopelessness, doubt, depression, fear, anxiety, or any of life’s burdens, we invite you to be renewed this Christmas by the Light that shines in the darkness.

Christmas Celebration - Sunday, December 22

Morning Worship Service - 10:45 am

The celebration of Christmas culminates on this jubilant Sunday! Our weekly worship service is an hour of worship, inspiration, and teaching from the Word of God. As we gather, people from all generations and walks of life come together for one purpose - to lift our worship to an "Audience of One." We hope to see you in person or online! 

Please note: Children's Church Time will NOT be held this week. Nursery care for children will be offered during the worship service as usual.

Evening Candlelight Service - Tuesday, December 24 - 6:00 pm

Our annual candlelight Christmas Eve service is a seasonal highlight for many families, and we are looking forward to a special time together again this year. We'll end the evening with cookies and hot cider.

Help needed: A team will be needed to help set and light the outdoor luminaries before the Christmas Eve service. Another team will be needed to collect the luminaries following the second service. Please contact Chris Mellon if you can help: worship@gbclancaster.org
